Hi

I do some cataloging work for a stamp dealer friend. I usually get a batch of loose stamps and album pages which have to be cataloged. After I am finished cataloging I give the stamps, which are now on manila stock cards, back to my friend and he then puts them in stock. To make that process easier I sort the stamps in catalog number order. The method used for sorting the stamps was developed over the years and works very well.

A while back I wrote a document describing this process in detail for one of our members. If anyone wishes a copy of this document please e-mail me at:

jerrybemail-stamps "at" yahoo "dot" com

with a subject of "SCF-Stamp Sorting". The subject is important so I do not delete the request as spam.

The document is in RTF (Rich Text Format) which should be readable on any PC or MAC. I can also send it as a DOC WORD document if requested.

Removed DOCX. It seems that the MS Office compatability pack fouls up some formatting when converting from DOC to DOCX.

I believe that you cannot add a subject line when emailing from stampcommunity. What would work is looking for "Sent From Stamp Community Forum By ...."

Hi tomiseksj

I tried that but all the document formatting gets lost (even with code). The only other way is to convert the document to JPEG and load the picture. That really is not a good option either as it is hard to read. So, if you want the document my offer of e-mailing still stands.

Don:
You are right about no subject line if sent from within SCF. That is why I gave my e-mail address. No matter, it seems people do not read instructions very well. A few e-mailed me from within SCF.

Well I hope I did it right. I sent for the document but didn't mention SCF. I sent it from my personal email program. Mozilla Thunderbird.
