Lithuania Political Cinderella

Can anyone help with this one?

The postmark is blurred and partial but whatever letter it was originally on seems to have been posted in Argentina in 1957, but I could be right out to lunch on that. Kind of begs the question, "Why is it in English rather than Spanish?"

I would appreciate any help that might be out there with identifying who produced this label and what particular cause they were championing.
