Here is a nice New Brunswick law stamp with a jumbo margin and part of the BABNC imprint on it as well.

very nice Bujutsu. I have a Ottawa law stamp and have never been sure what they were used for? Were they similar to the US documentary issues?

They had similar usages like their US counterparts. You will see these a lot on documents to show proof of payment of taxes and other different fees.

There is a set of books out on the different revenue stamps of Canada. It is not the standard Van Dam revenue catalogue but a set published by Zaluski. The books showed just how these stamp were applied and why. Unfortunately, I do not have that set of books - pretty dicey $$-wise
