Here is the red and another blue one together.

Can the red one be a Type I (without crossbar)?

Yes. it's true. The blue one is definitely a winner over the red one which is a Type I - 1904 reprint.

What seems to strike my eye the most as being wrong is the first "S" in Stampel. The unsymmetry seems odd.
