I recently had my mail held while I was away. As usual, the accumulated mail was in my mailbox along with a copy of the form I filled out online.

The odd thing was that it was handwritten. Of course, I flipped the form over and found this:

Probably some child or a temp horsing around with the ink pad.

Or, maybe it is a trial logo, Mr. Zip on crack?

Dan

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.

This was until now, a completely hidden program, but I have just been given liberty to tell you the true meaning of that stamp. There are actually two rubber stamps in the set. The second rubber stamp is green in color and features a frowning and unhappy person. All mail hold orders must be stamp with one of these rubber stamps. Those with red happy faces are those who are identified as positive customers. Their mail is well cared for and stored. Those with green stamps on their hold mail orders are those identified as negative customers. Negative customers are those who receive at least one of each of the items addressed to "resident" and their mail is stored out-of-doors and while not specifically exposed to the elements are possibly prone to the occasional squall or careless dog.

When customers come to pick up their mail, positive customers receive theirs in PO boxes which they are welcome to return to the PO at their leisure. Negative customers are forced to wait at least 30 minutes for their mail in the post office lobby while postal workers pack their mail into random cardboard boxes with weak bottoms.

. . . not.

Like others, you had me there for a while too. And it's not even April 1st! I was wondering why US mail would be so pedantic.
