Never seen that error before, but nothing I see with the inflation issues really surprises me. There are entire volumes devoted to the errors on the inflation printings including several individual stamps which have so many errors they have their own volumes.
Thanks. An expert from Croatia already told me that in the printing process somehow part of the sheet covered the another, so this kind of error appeared that way. He told me that this is not listed in the specialized and other usual catalogues... but, because you are so familiar with the inflation (and other D.R. literature), I just thought that you will possibly know something more.
Thanks again for your reply!
I am just curious is this error mentioned anywhere. At least, it looks like the major one.
I am sorry to bother all of you but I am new at this. I have absolutly no idea what is meant by hinged and unhinged. But I do see some fimiliar stamps. I have recently came across several Fully printed sheets of Inflation stamps in all different amounts. Some sheets still have the printers name and address in Berlin on them. All in all I might 15 to 20 FULL sheets with side trim still attached and some smaller sections of others.
Would it be wise for me to take them to a stamp dealer here in my area. I really have little knowledge of there worth except from what I read in the forums here.
