In the footer of every page we now have the last 25 New and Active topics listed with clickable links. At the top of these lists are links to NEW last 100 pages. These have been completely recoded. They are VERY zippy and now include a time stamp AND the forum they are posted in. As a result of this, the last 100 links have been removed from the header navigation and the topic list in the left menu has been replaced with a list of recently listed PINs/Auctions. Things are shaping up around here if I do say so myself.

Appreciate your work! I just checked out the Last 100 Active Topics, which is pretty much how I always use the forum. I'm not a fan of having the threads open in a new tab, though.
ETA: And it appears that the only option is to click on the thread title and go to the beginning of the thread rather than the new posts? |

I hate to say it, but I'm not a fan of the changes to the left sidebar. I come here for the discussions, not for the auctions, and it was very convenient being able to quickly see if there were any recent topics in which I was interested without going to a separate page or scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page. |

Sorry, don't like it. Why can't we keep the last 100 New/Active as a button at the top - far easier in my opinion. |

OK, at first I did not like it all. But, after going to the bottom of the page and navigate some it is very useful. I guess most people will balk to change at first but I would recomend to give it a try. |

For those who come primarily for the auctions- they are now front and left. For those you come for the discussions- like me- they are down below- out of the way, and out of sight. Not all change is good. |

Tip for those who don't like scrolling down: Press the "End" button on your keypad to get immediately to the bottom of the page. The "Home" button will get you back to the top. On many keyboards these buttons are in the upper right hand corner. |

Trust me, give it a try.
As mentioned, the end key takes you right to the topic lists. These topic lists now interact with you by color telling you which ones you've read and which ones you haven't by changing color. The old list did not. There's also 25 in the lists, many more than the old list. Also the new 100 lists are far better.
I will be playing with the "active" list today to try and get it to go to the last post instead of the beginning of the topic. |

Quote: ETA: And it appears that the only option is to click on the thread title and go to the beginning of the thread rather than the new posts? Links in the active topics list now go to the last post. Plus the link color should refresh from gray to black when there's a new post in the topic. |
