Hi! I have a stamp that is similar to SC O4, but it says only "Inland Revenue" (not postage), and it is larger than the regular size stamp. It is drying right now, I checked the watermark and it is the anchor, #31. I will post a scan and measurements asap. Does anyone know what this is?

Measurement of design: 25 x 29-1/2 mm

It's a little difficult to see, but I believe that you have a Postal Fiscal, identified in my SG catalog as F9. It from 1860-67 and listed as 1d, reddish lilac.

This stamp, like yours, has been fiscally used. Postally used examples would command a premium .... if you come across them but they are quite "rare"
