The Columbia rectilinear with horizontal lines cancel machine impression

This one I have from Gulf Port Miss. looks to be a little different? The reason I ask is because the shown Rectilinear has 8 independent horizontal bars in the killer portion and the one I have seems to have 3 courses of 2 (6 bars)
Is this common or a variety or did I miss the mark all together?

Enhanced into B&W and cropped out

Hello,
The Hempstead is known as a type K-8 Columbia machine, and the Gulfport is a type J-6P. Columbia machines can be fine to collect, since they are quite numerous, with many different types, and most can be had quite inexpensively. The Machine Cancel Society (Morris / Payne / Holmes) published a 7 volume opus (over 1500 pages) dedicated to the history and markings of the Columbia machines. Hope that helps.
