Guernsey : SS ROEBUCK , built in 1925 by Swan, Hunter and Wigham Richardson on Tyneside; GRT 776 Tons
In 1940 she rescued more than 600 British troops from Dunkirk, after which she was used for war work in the Thames and around northern France for which she was temporarily renamed Roebuck II.
She returned to railway service after the war and resumed operation at Weymouth until 27 February 1965; the previous November she had been disguised as the Norwegian SS Galtesund for a film.
Scrapped 1965.

SS IBEX : Built by Lairds of Birkenhead and launched in 1891 ( with GRT 1,160 )
She struck the Noirmontaise rocks off Jersey on 16 April 1897 and was beached in Portlet Bay. Less than three years later, on 5 January 1900, struck a reef at St Peter Port, Guernsey, and sunk.
One passenger and one crewman died. She was raised on 21 July 1900 and returned to service the following April after repairs. In 1916 a 12 pound gun was mounted on her stern; and on 18 April 1918 she fired on and sunk a U-boat for which the crew received a £500 reward.
She was cut up at Sharpness in 1925

King Orry (III) – the third ship in the history of the Company to bear the name – was a passenger steamer which served with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, until she was sunk during the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940.

P.S. GREAT WESTERN
A paddle steamer ( GRT 466 ) built for Ford and Jackson in 1867 by William Simons & Co., Renfrew.
She was acquired in 1872, and mainly worked out of Weymouth from 1878 to 1885. Six years later she was sold to David MacBrayne Ltd and sailed on routes off the west coast of Scotland as the Lovedale

MS Lady of Mann (II) was a side-loading car ferry built in 1976 for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and operated on the Douglas–Liverpool crossing. She served the company for 29 years

Genovese Lighthouse - Constanta-Port, Romania
Actually it was built by a British Company in 1886 (on a place of an old Genovese lighthouse).
Deactivated in 1913.

The Hawker Sea Fury was a British fighter aircraft designed and manufactured by Hawker. It was the last propeller-driven fighter to serve with the Royal Navy, and also one of the fastest production single piston-engined aircraft ever built.[3] Developed during the Second World War, the Sea Fury entered service two years after the war ended. The Sea Fury proved to be a popular aircraft with a number of overseas militaries, and was used during the Korean War in the early 1950s.

A nice and emotional story on a maximum card !

A stray mutt wandered into an Albany, New York post office in 1888 and eventually became the unofficial mascot of the Railway Mail Service. He rode with mail bags on trains across the country, protecting precious cargo along the way. Railway mail clerks attached medals and tags to his collar to record the dog's travels and in 1895 Owney traveled with mailbags on steamship to Asia and across Europe. The story of Owney is told in the exhibition "Mail by Rail", in the National Postal Museum gallery "Moving the Mail"
