Check out the number boxes on this MNH ADMIRAL ISSUE I bought the other day. I am waiting for shipment and will show better pics when I get it...looks to be doubled on LL number box and bottom frame, also missing inner NB frame lines. Anyone have one like this?

Here is another that is in shipping a Scott 127 on which I see doubling all over the place. I think these both may be Major Re-entries,but would appreciate a more experienced opinion please.

I took a look at both pictures and they are not nearly sharp enough to determine anything like a re-entry.
Best to wait until they arrive, take some high def. scans, crop out the sections and re-post.

The 1c might have something going on in the numeral box, but it could also be that the seller's scan was distorted.

I agree with 3Dadeo. Often, scans are lower resolution then zoomed or enlarged. This gives exactly what you see here....a design that seems broken or doubled.

Now you can see how the original scan showed broken lines and doubling that isnt there on the new scan. The perforation "error" is minor and not really rare....does not add value. The one shown by Wert is a much better example of a perforation error.

Just my personnal thoughts Coinwatcher. You cant go and just decide what is an error and invent varieties and try to sell them as such. You let people beleive that you are an expert by doing this. It is not a honest way to deal this way as a seller. There is a moral responsibility as a seller towards buyers. If you have something that you think merits attention and shows a special flaw or error. Post it in a place like here. Send scans to experts. Listen to what informations you gather and, if the information received sounds promising, get the item certified. Then you can sell the uncommon items for a preminum if you like. You have done your homework and can justify your claims to a buyer.

Just food for thoughts; respectfully.
