Rizzi,

Forgive me if I am telling you something you already know, but the point is worth mentioning.

These stamps are known as "Semi-postal" stamps. They have an additional fee added to the price of postage (EG: 6 +4, 25 +10, etc).

The additional fees are used for various reasons depending on the country and era.

Scott lists these stamps in their catalogues with the prefix 'B'. I really, truly hate Scott for cataloging this way, but there is no change in sight.
