Here is the embossed flap:



W. E. Bowyer, London, 84, Great Tower St.

Research indicates W. E. Bowyer was a tea merchant. Fitting, since Major Wright ran a general store.

Congratulations BeeSee. This is a part of philately that is very fascinating and very rewarding when something like this cover is found. I am also on the watch for similar covers of interest to me.
