Hi..Noticed my Scott #498 Hermit Thrush stamp has a golden coloured circle at the bottom left hand corner of this stamp..I have no idea what it is or what caused it..This is a M/NH stamp...Has anyone else have this oddity on their stamp(s)..?..Thanks.

Mine don't have this.
Looks like a stain from printing the brownish background colour. |

Looks like a dried spot from a coffee drip, especially since the outer ring is thicker than the inner ring. |

Those circles are ink droplets and are called donuts - naturally because of their shape. Not an uncommon occurrence. |

Wish it was a coffee stain...But, it is a golden colour and shiny and rim is raised a bit...strange. |
