Hello again! Looking in my Scott 2012 I see no "light blue" for #127 or #143 (A66). There is mention of a color "changeling" for #125 that indicates a fading of the yellow ink. Is that what has happened to this one or do you know of another color variant? THanks very much! Leif

Although there is a blue-green variation, I think your stamps is far too blue to be that shade. Inks used were fugitive and so were liable to change color. I think the halfpenny stamps were singly fugitive which could mean a chemical has changed the color... but I'd not rule out any water contact. Some of the Edwardian stamps were double fugitive and were affected by both chemical and water (one or two stamps could even be changed by exposure to just a slightly damp air).

Thanks, scotzm, does this one seem within the range of that kind of change?

Hello,

the scott catalog is not the better one for the GB stamps.
The official color for this issue (1902-11) is blue-green and the shades are from dull blue-green to deep blue-green.
The yellow-green was only issued in 1904 by De La Rue and in 1911 by Harrisson.

Regards.
