The Lincoln 21-cent Press Sheet was originally announced with a reduced quantity of only 1000 units each (with and without die cuts). The interesting thing is that it's one of the least expensive Press Sheets that has been offered, in only a 1x3 format, meaning that a Press Sheet costs only $12.60.
So with only 60 stamps per "without die cut" Press Sheet, there will be only 60,000 possible imperforate stamps (less, if one decides not to cut up a Press Sheet into individual stamps).
What I view as a problem is that reduced quantity and low cost per item, coupled with unlimited ordering ability, suggests that a dealer or investor who may have a mind to could pay $12,600 and corner the market by buying up virtually all "without die cut" Press Sheets and then attempt to resell them at whatever price the market may bear. In my opinion, that's opening up the proverbial "can of worms" in terms of future interest in these products.
Of course, the USPS has the option of reprinting additional Press Sheets beyond the announced quantities, but that's a gamble as to whether they would do it or not (but since the USPS did do it for the Baseball All-Stars a few years ago, it could happen again.)
For anyone interested in ordering the "without die cuts" Press Sheet, they are available at the link below. Note, however, that customers previously ordering these items have reportedly not yet received them. If the link below is accurate they only available for "pre-order" and will not be available (to ship?) until at least February 24, 2014:
