Was the imperfs more poorly printed than the perforated stamps .The right stamps at first look as a forgery but the background has a engraved checkerboard pattern and it looks like a revenue cancel that was wash off .

both genuine, printings varied due to ink quality and workmanship.

both stamps have had pen cancels removed.
