Several years back I donated all my American Philatelist Magazines to the local library. When we moved I just figured it was a good idea. Had them complete since I became a member back in 1978. I just received some info that leads me to look something up in an old one from 1979. I went to the Library and they no longer have them. No reason but I can only imagine there was not much of a requirement for them. Now I am in need of a few articles from 1979. I contacted APS and that particular year is not available digitally yet. I could pay for it but was wondering if any might have the edition I need and have the capability to scan and email? Asking a lot but thought I would try. Here is what I need: Markings on Advertised Letters to 1870, James W. Milgram, M.D. and N. Leonard Perrson, The American Philatelist, May 1979, pp 405-12 and June 1979, 506-12. Doug, Greetings:

http://www.fwpl.org/

The Western Philatelic Library will photocopy a few pages, and will let you borrow-by-mail.

That having been said, I have no idea if they've got that issue of The American Philatelist on the shelf.

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey
