This is to announce that I am no longer seeking to develop a philatelic library of my own. That is because some wonderful and insightful people have joined together to form the Northern Philatelic Society. http://norps.org/

One of the primary labors the society has taken on is to build the Northern Philatelic Library. The library is located at 426 South Wabasha St, Suite B, St. Paul MN. Keep in mind that the library access is at floor level, in the back of the building. There is a small sign in the window where you can enter. For more information about the library and its hours please visit the website.

There are also activiies and local club meetings held at the library throughout the week. This past Saturday was our monthy second Saturday bourse, where members brought stuff to trade/buy/sell. For a full list of events please visit the website, though I dare say one could spend the all their week evenings and Saturdays at the library if they wanted to.

Of course I said "sorta" in the title because I will now be thinking of ways to expand this library instead of my own.

You are right on target, as usual. There is a sealed off escape tunnel that leads to the caves.

At this point nothing you know surprises me much, though it always interests me.

Ikey - Yes, I suspect in the coming years NORPS will do the same. Right know it is still really in its infancy. Still, if you live in or visit the Twin Cities they are open for business.

Beautiful idea, a place where young and old collectors can come together.
