OK, one is a Scott 32 and the other is a Scott 42. One is well centered, and the other ... isn't. But do you see the misspelling? Is this common?

If I had to guess I'd say thats a plate error and not a spelling error. Like something was physically blocking ink access to the plate. However that's just a guess.

I agree with bstrent. Likely a printing mishap. Will make a nice addition to your collection. Other potential "problems" of this nature occur in the Ceres issues (1914-26) of the Portuguese colonies. Also the early overprints of (British) Somaliland Proctecterate. I'm sure there are many other countries.

If it that variety is in the same position on every sheet, then it is of major interest and would certainly be listed in some Lithuanian specialists catalogs.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. When I first saw it, I immediately thought some type of inking error, since you can see other poorly inked sections. But it is interesting to note that the location easily turns the "O" into a "G". I'll just keep it as an interesting variety, as I don't think I'll be picking up a Lithuanian Specialists Catalog anytime soon.
