Welcome e-rock-in,

Korea? North Korea? Juche - the philosophy of self reliance and self defense. Authored / promoted by Kim Il Sung. That is all I know about it. Catalogue needed for ID of stamp.

Terry

It's Scott #1631. (2014 catalog value: $3.00 mint, $1.00 used). There is also a set of 6 stamps that's part of the series: 1625-1630. ('14 cat: $3.50 mint, $0.60 used).

I had never heard of this term before, and, without vouching for its accuracy, here's the Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juche

Yes Philatarium, the struggle of ideologies of the USSR and the U.S. meant debunking all the most reasonable in the world order of each party.
I cried watching "Forrest Gump" and wondered: is not all Americans - are stupid and greedy :))
We are told that everyone in the United States looks like :)

And all such Russian

And now do not understand what is happening. Our deputies vilify the U.S., but taking advantage of new iPhones and drive Ford.
Funny :)
