Spain 1851 - 12 Cuartos

Hi All,

Please find attached a copy of Edifil 7 which recently sold on ebay. I have been studying this stamp to better my knowledge, and although this particularity copy looks good, my gut tells me it is not genuine. Specifically, I find the shape of the D and O in the "Doce" letters different from my own copy of this stamp and all other images I have seen in my reference material. I haven't been able to find these differences as known variations.

Also, some of the lines in the hair appear to be inconsistent.



I would love to have another opinion regarding the authenticity of this stamp.
