Alexandre-Pierre Georges "Sacha" Guitry (1885-1957) was a French stage actor, film actor, director, screenwriter, and playwright of the Boulevard theatre. Guan Hanqing, known as the "Old Man of the Studio," was a notable Chinese playwright and poet during the Yuan Dynasty. Here is an image of a stamp featuring a portrait of the dramatist, designed by Vasili Vasilievich Zavialov (1906-1972), and issued by Russia (USSR) on December 5, 1958 to commemorate the 700th anniversary of Guan Hanqing's theatrical work, Scott No. 2146, Zagorski No. 2172, plus an image of the original Chinese work of art which was the model for this stamp's design.
