The Five Little Pischers Gotta love that German potty humor, especially when there are five potties, and not one miss! Q/ Anybody got another one like this one? Cheers, /s/ ikeyPikey

That's pretty good, I'll admit... but, when (we) were growing up, you showed how good you were if you could write your name in the snow, and dot every 'i' and cross every 't' and not leave trails... |

That translates to roughly "The altitude record-aeronaut department at the night pan" |

Another Little Pischer, and this one's famous, to boot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manneken_PisYes, that's the same little pischer as in graphis' post, above. The card is an NYP (Not Yet Posted) CMYK (four color half-tone) that has not aged well. I have not nailed down the 'N.Sch.Br.Ed.' imprint. I first read this as 'N-something School Board of Education' but, more likely, the 'Br' is 'Bruxelles' and the 'Ed' is 'Edition', as in 'Printed in Bruxelles'. Cheers, /s/ ikeyPikey |

The little Leprechaun who controls the luck-of-the-lot has bestowed this PPC of the Manneken Pis in situ. S/he has also bestowed an opportunity to better grasp the etymology of the word 'cliche' ... any takers? Cheers, /s/ ikeyPikey |

Oh, goodness, here's another one. Q/ Can you identify this statue? The swans/geese ought to be a giveaway as to the culture/country if, say, you knew more than me Cheers, /s/ ikeyPikey |

Italian, I believe. But I could be mistaken. The Belgians and Austrians loved "kleine pischer" cards -- they may have been into statues too. |

Perhaps there was some anniversary connected with Pierre-Jean de Smet, a Belgian priest who was a friend of Sitting Bull. |

I am getting confused with pischers (pissers) pisching (pissing) into pischers (pitchers). Tongue twister anyone? Also one has to wonder how swimming pool in French piscine and Spanish piscina are related when it's not to be done in the pool. |
