I have been using the Album Pro software for over 15 years. Recently I had a problem with my computer and while in maintenance the program was erased. I have the original diskettes but for one reason or another they cannot be read. The company no longer exists. Does anyone know were can I get a used set or copy of the program diskettes version 2.01 and 3.02?

I have used Album Pro for almost as long as you. What Windows program are you running? It's my understanding that Album Pro is not compatible with anything newer than Windows XP, and then there was a couple of tweaks that Album Pro support had to do to make it work.

There may be nothing wrong with your discs. If you have a newer Windows operating system the Album Pro won't load.

If you are running XP, I could try to transfer the program from the old small discs to a CD.

Thanks for your answer. I'am still running XP. They don't work in anything newer. I also tried transfering to CD's but apparently the problem is that the disks were unused for so long that they can't be read. As I said I had the program installed so I had no need to used the diskettes frequently. Anyhow I still have not given up. The diskettes at this time are being check at another computer shop and I hope to have an answer soon.
I will let you know what happens.
Thanks again.

It is page-making software. It allows the user to lay out appropriately sized frames and write text for custom stamp pages. It came out around the turn of the century and went through a couple of updates, but the company no longer supports it and may be out of business.

Might this be used as a reasonable substitute:

Apastuszak:

Thanks for the link.

Yes, it, undoubtedly, would work just as well once a person learned how to use it effectively. I can only speak for myself, but I am used to using Album Pro and can turn out pages quickly and without much trial and error. My page defaults are set and I add the appropriate country and stamp series data, size the stamp frames, configure them to a page, type in the descriptive text, and print.

I am a creature of habit and resist change and relearning stuff.

I understand completely. Just wanted to throw out a free alternative in case you have no luck with Album Pro. There is also a web based solution:
