I noticed that there are quite a large number of pages of items for sale on Amazon under the Toys & Games : Hobbies : Stamp Collecting category. Mostly common stuff and packs, a lot of US it seems.

Just curious if anyone's trying it and if they are having success?

I've purchased some hinges and stock books from Amazon. However, their prices at not great unless you consider the free shipping (if you have a Prime Membership). The prices for stationary supplies, however, are excellent if you make your own albums.

I have purchased all of my Scott Catalogues through Amazon. All have been a little older and used, but in very good condition.

I am with center stage in that I buy my Scott Catalogues from Amazon. I usually pick up the older used library copies for around $20/$25.

just curious: why would you pay $60+ for a roll of 100 Flag/Fireworks from Amazon when the USPS sells them @ $49????
