I am looking into a couple options for new album pages, starting with Israel tabs and Vatican.

I am leaning toward Davo hingeless due to price or White Ace due to the descriptive nature, even though they'll require mounts.

A couple of questions.

1. Does anyone know of a hingeless album with the level, or close to, of description as White Ace?
2. I have only been able to find one or two samples of Israel tabbed White Ace pages, and it lacks the description I've seen from other country's pages. Is this consistent in their Israel tabs' pages?
3. Aside from missing varieties in some cases, are there compelling reasons to NOT use Davo or White Ace?

Thanks.

You might try posting this in the "World Modern Stamps Mint and Used" forum. The foreign collectors might know more about newer albums for foreign stamps.

This is a personal question! It all depends on how you collect your countries.
I collect Switzerland used, and am the proud owner of a Davo hingeless album set. But I also have some blank pages in there that I use for items not in a regular country collection.
My other main collection is a specialized collection of Transportation Coils, and no albums are available for those. I do make my own pages. Hope this helps a little bit!

There is not much description on the Israel Tab White Ace pages. Usually just a title of the issue. They also don't come out with the new supplement until ~October of the year, which is very late. When I first started collecting, it used to be April, so if I missed an issue, or needed a special format, it is normally too late to get it from the philatelic service. They also don't have places for many varieties at all. They are inconsistent over what they do include. Sometimes they have spots for booklet singles, sometimes not. Coils, tete-beche, perforation and watermark varieties are completely ignored. Despite all this, I use the White Ace pages for my tab singles, but I use Lindner hingeless pages for mini-sheets. I also use a lot of Vario pages to hold the varieties.
