Hello. Not familiar with Canada stamps. Are there any rare watermark varieties with this one? This one has a crown watermark. Thanks!

It's not a Canadian stamp ...it's from Great Britain issued in the early 50's.

Interesting partial perforation of the selvage sides. Is that normal?

Perforations are "normal" as it occurs on every sheet. The QE2 2d stamp would probably been part of a corner block possibly showing cylinder number... now unfortunately the other five have been removed which makes the single stamp interesting as it shows interpane gutter and also the perforations "type"... but no added value over a more "normal" stamp.
Here is an example of a GB corner block showing similar characteristics.
