I'm searching a handy, not specialized catalogue for quickly organizing my German stamps. In the past I've used a little, cute Philex 1994 but now it's almost destroyed
Do you have experience with Michel Junior, DNK and Philex? Which do you think is the best? Do you know other similar catalogues?

For Germany, it's got to be Michel.
The smallest one I've got is the Michel Briefmarken Katalog Deutschland which, although one volume, may be to big for your needs, but which I find is more than adequate for intermediate-specialised needs. From what I can gather by perusing the net the Michel Junior is a simplified version of mine.

Here's a review of last years edition

Yes, Michel Junior is the best 'simplified' volume out there (about the same level as Scott).

Another good alternative (similar contents) is DNK Deutchland published by Leuchtturm / Lighthouse.

Both have got every stamp illustrated (with color images) and just the basic details.

Both cost about 10€ new, used about half of that. In reality, postage costs more than these books.

Thanks! I also saw that Michel and DNK use the same numeration. I'll pick up, of the two, the one I can find most easily in Rome...
