Hello:

Wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between plate block 9 and 9n? I'm using a 2010Unitrade catalogue. Plate 9 is listed as $18 for LL that I have. Plate 9n is listed as $4.80 for LL. Confusion is that I see 9's listed as 9n's but look the same as mine?

Thanks!

Hi Steve. There is a note after #341 that explains the difference. The "n" indicates narrow (trimmed) selvedge. That means there is no inscription of the order number on the left.

We talking about the 10¢ yellow Washington EKU 01/09 ?? I don't see any footnots on it in my regular scott catalog but maybe more in the specialized though?

As long as the narrow "n" variety is worth less than the regular full form, there will hopefully be no privately made "n" trimmed versions.
