Nice cover with an unusual postal marking. And way up there is NY State -- Rouses Point is said to be less than a mile from the US/Canadian Border.

It is the northeastern most village in New York State, although there are many village and towns farther east in the state, but much more to the south. It's in the Town of Champlain.

Lots of first issue revenue cancels from Rouses Point, both from the custom house and the Montreal RR.
