Hello,

I have an old stamp that maybe there is a small value for it.
It was a gift from an old guy that I used to help.
From the back side is written that it worth the value of a silver coin.
Where I could sow it to learn about it?

Thank you in advance,
Sophocles

Have a look at how to post images and post a image of the stamp.

Othewise, you are just wasting everyone's time.

What country is it from? What is written on it (the front, not the back)? What image is shown on the stamp?

Describe it like this and someone may know which stamp you have.

I'm sorry to say that it is a very common (= very small value= a few cents of €)Russian stamp/coin, issued during the First World War(in 1915). It says, "this stamp is worth 10 kopecks (0.10 Russian Ruble) in silver".

Perhaps it has a high sentimental value for you, but nobody it's going to give you even an euro for it. So, keep it as a souvenir from a friend.

I bought a house and there were about 20 5 gallon buckets full of used and Un - used stamps.I'm Wondering if they are worth anything at all. I'm not a collector, just kind of fell into these stamps so I know nothing about them. Some help or advice what to do with these stamps would be greatly appreciated.

Well, they are certainly worth something. There's no doubt you could sell the buckets individually as kiloware/lucky dip lots. People would buy them and sort through hoping to get lucky.

The trouble is, working out if the stamps have any more value as rarities and collectables will require sorting through yourself, and a little knowledge about what to look for. Maybe pull out a few handfuls and photograph them. That would give us a very rough idea of whether this is probably all old space-filler material or not.
