Wert, my U.S. stamps just aren't all that impressive. No rarities anyway. But here are some I like.
The three 1901's are the only mint ones I have of that series. All are hinged with gum. The 10c has a crease.

Wert, I agree, U.S. stamps are awesome. Just not many of mine would be considered so.

As far as centering, condition, and eye appeal, this neatly canceled 7 cent Continental is one of my best looking 141 year old stamps. Very tough choice to make.

Wait! Maybe it's this fancy canceled 5 cent Columbian, another 100 year+ old stamp with lots of eye appeal!

See? Can't make up my mind!

Whoops! Sorry, my bad! Even though my scan was properly identidied as Sc 148, I incorrectly refered to the 7 cent stamp above as a Continental when it is a National stamp. Still having a tough time deciding which to show as my best stamp, mostly because of my acceptable standard, they are mostly all centered the same. Replacing the 7 cent National in my ablum today, I couldn't ignore these two. A nicely centered 90 cent Treasury, short transfet at top left, not the prettiest stamp but that short transfer sure adds a lot of appeal.

One of my favorites is this O8 with a blue 1879 cds. Although I'm not too sure if the cancel is legitimate.

Beautifull stamp! I have wondered if Canada's Large Queens are the same size as you S large banknotes. Have never seen a cover with that mixed franking.

I just stumbled on this topic and see that some non-Canadian stamps seem to be acceptable. Here's mine:

I bought this on ebay many years ago for $15.00. Even today, it only catalogs $1.00. Within minutes after the auction closed, I was contacted by a losing bidder (you could do that in those days) and offered $60 for the stamp. I turned it down. Who knows what it's really worth, but I think it's beautiful.

rustyc, that baby is mint. I'm not familiar with revenues, except the few I have. Yours seems to have some lines that don't belong. Through the lower area of process and through cents.
Are those guide dots in each corner just outside the frame?

stampcrow, I'm not very good at spotting double transfers and the like, but based on other R60s I have, I'm pretty sure that the lines you see are part of the design and are supposed to be there. As for the dots, I just don't know. Some others seem to have them, some don't. Maybe one of the revenue experts will notice this thread and state his opinion. By the way, glad you like the stamp!
