No - your stamp is not that rare ,I purchased more expensive Swiss stamps and other buyers don't jump because it is the only one on the market .Buyers wait for major collection auctions to purchase rare items ,not a one stamp auction on
ebay because the danger is the cert. is a fake or been played with . If someone ,me included is going to spend that kind of money were going to buy from a name firm .
Your math to the value is a little off in this market place, it would sell in the range I quoted , but with two damaged perfs ,you can drop my bid down $100.00 or $150.00 more ,get real about that stamp there are only four or five buyers who would seriously concider that stamp , now you find them because no dealers is buying for inventory right now .
Now let me give you some advice ......if you want to sell it ,first call around to the major auction houses and find one that is going to have a major Swiss collection auction , there is a major Swiss auction once every two or three years ,but find the one that is having a exclusive catalog made for Swiss stamps ,that means to stay away from General Worldwide Auctions that have Swiss included. That is where your going to find buyers and bidders for that type of stamp.
