The reason I asked it, is that there is in the previous catalogues an HUGE difference in the value for the 78Cb(75 IIIb) and I wanted to know if there was a correction in the latest issues of these 2 catalogues.

Priatel, I have the 2000 Zumstein. Are you looking for the different hues ( farbtone )? Listed are 78Ca, b, c & d.
The 78Cb lists for 120.- mint and 75.- used. Let me know if this is what you are looking for?

The stamp I saw the HUGE difference of value between Michel & Zumstein is Zumstein 78Cb "dunkelanilinrot".

In Zumstein Spezialkatalog 1992, it is quoted *=120 / used=65 CHF
In Michel Spezialkatalog 2010,(#73 IIIb) it is quoted *=300€ / used 6000€ !

I saw 2 of them for sale for around 4000$/ each

Priatel, the dunkelanalinrot is in the 2000 Zumstein changed to 78Cc. Mint it goes for 500.- CHF, used for 10000.- CHF!

In Zumstein 1992, we have 3 types and in Michel 2010, also.

78Ca : anilinrosa *85/used 55 (orange Under UV lamp)
It is Michel 72 IIIa: *50/used 50 (orange Under UV lamp)

78Cb : Dunkelanilinrot *120/used 65 (orange Under UV lamp)
It is Michel 72 IIIb: *300/used 6000 (orange Under UV lamp)

78Cc : Tiekkarmin *1250/used 10000 (mattpink Under UV lamp)
It is Michel 72 IIIc: *800/used 6000 (pink Under UV lamp)

The difference is on the 78Cb/72 IIIb !!

Priatel, the 2000 Zumstein lists 78Ca same.
78Cb is analinrot ( orange under UV ) 120.- / 75.-
78Cc is the dunkelanalinrot ( as in the above thread )
78Cd is the tiefkarmin ( mattpink in UV ) 800.- / 10000.-

Zumstein added one and shifted the listings! Hope this helps!

Yes, so Zumstein 2000 has
78Ca ....85/55
78Cb .... 120/75
78Cc......??????
78Cd......800/6000

I am waiting for someone who can give the catalogues values in the Michel Spezialkatalog 2014/2015 ; just to see if they have changed their 72 IIIb.

Priatel, forgot the price.

78Ca.....75 / 60
78Cb.....120 / 75
78Cc.....500 / 10000
78Cd.....1250 / 10000

It is probably different in the latest Zumstein since the Swiss franc is now higher than ever!

Peter

What is the color Under the UV lamp of the 78Cc? Orange or mattpink?

@Peter4522
Can you confirm that in the latest Zumstein 2000 (Spezialkatalog) there are the 4 following colors:

78Ca :anilin ROSA
78Cb :anilin ROT
78Cc :DUNKEL anilin rot
78Cd :Tiefkarmin

That is to say that the three varieties Ca to Cc can be differenciated ONLY by the nuance of the color ( all of 3 give orange Under UV, right?)
Thank you

Priatel, all that you wrote is correct! Except for one thing, the Zumstein 2000 is not the latest one, a new one was issued earlier this year but I do not have it! Scratch that last part; I was misinformed and there is no special catalog 2015 yet!

I think that the SPEZIALKATALOG 2000 is the latest Special one ! Cover red.
From Zumstein, of course.
I have the Special 1992 (cover yellow), and the NORMAL catalogue 2015.

About Michel I have the SPEZIALKATALOG 2010.
There is a 2014/2015 one.

And also, for 2016 (issue september 2015)Zumstein will have a regular catalogue, but not a Special one.

Do you have other informations?
