Bobg there were some other turistas there..i think my wife asked a woman or a girl to snap the pic...nearby there is a sign PANTHER CROSSING..i guess there are not many panthers as opposed to alligators and they don't want some damn fool running them over...i couldnt help but notice how the everglades is building in from the coasts ...it was not that long ago that no one would build due to the mosquitos during the summer..but I guess they can fumigate them now !!

I'm leaving ths discussion to BobG4. I will confine my comments to the associated town mentioned . Mt. Dora.
Mt. Dora is a beautiful town on the lake . you'd swear you're somewhere in Europe.
and of note is Ocklawaha, Fl; was the hideout of the Ma Barker gang in the 30's(?). I hid out there a couple of months myself. right behind the Post Office, too. ( no joke). And about 5 miles just down the road is another small Post Office.
I think it's East Lake Weir. sorry, no pics.

While many folks list the Ochopee, Florida PO (above) as being the smallest USA PO there are other contenders. This De Luz, CA PO is in the running...

Are there others?
