Here are 3 different Guatemala stamps scott numbers 416 417 and 418 do you spot the difference ? no fair looking in the catalog !!

The lettering and frames look black, blue-violet, and brown to me (respectively).
Also the first stamp has finer perforations than the other two.

The printing is indeed black,violet and brown..i will check into the perforations and get back..will see if there were different printings..the Guatemalans are promiscuous in their printing of stamps...using many different printers and then the perforations are all over the map !!

Blast it...T360 has the eyes of a falcon..the black inscription has perfs of 13.3 while the violet and brown inscriptions are 11.4, the black inscription was printed Nov 16, 1971 in the quantity of 250,000 the latter two were printed May 9, 1972 in the amount of one million each...dont forget Guatemala is a small country and I doubt if the non Spanish speakers up in the highlands write many letters in Mayan dialects...
