Give them to the kids for their albums anyway :-) There is a common theme with some recent threads. Some folk don't recognise British stamps. Remember that we don't put the country name on, only the Monarch's head :-)

I give all modern stamps to my daughter. She gets way more joy out of them than I do, esp. colorful stamps like yours. I'm hooked on classics now.

Really Tim H...They got a lot to learn...I am free today because Britain stepped up to the plate In 1939..I WILL ALWAYS RECOGNIZE BRITAIN..AND OF COURSE THEIR STAMPS.

I'm hooked on classics now....Me to raymodj..all pre 1940 stamps.

Yes Geoff...All members of the British Commonwealth did...BUT..Britain was the only one that stood alone at first (without high jacking my own thread..haha)
