Can someone(s) please post Backside pictures of Used bluish gray paper copies of U.S. Scott#'s 357-366 please (The washington Franklin issues), the more the merrier! =) ? wanting to know if a Used stamp (Which has probably been soaked off from hinging and so forth multiple times over the years) with Bluish Gray paper tends to be somewhat Diminished as opposed to Unused with gum Bluish Gray paper?

Just a heads up before the moderator mentions it.
Cannot help with your request but I assume you are referring to a Scott catalog #? - many here do not use Scotts.

Your requests should be country, year, issue specific ie: US 1909 Need help with Bluish Paper issues.

nl1947... with all due respect to you, my friend, 1maddmatter is 100%
correct in the wording (and location) of his posting, which is in a
U.S. category, where Scott numbers are used as the exclusive numerical reference...

Whereas I understand your interest and request to view scans of the bluish paper WF stamps, you should be aware the color as seen from posted scans may not accurately represent the actual color of the paper as viewed in hand.

Regarding changing/fading of the bluish-gray paper color, the answer is no, since the color is due to the rag-fiber content in the paper.

The stamp on the left below is Scott 357, on the right is Scott 331.
