Thank you Partime! That worked, but wow that's a lot of steps. Will ponder the time constraint on that one. Thanks again for the quick and helpful reply.
Re-read this post and I have a question for you (may be off topic). Recently I had a Win 7 machine built with Office 2013. Until my XP died I was entering stamp data via Word (did not have Excel) and hyperlinks (sort of a quasi data base). Data entry utilized custom floating toolbars.
To my amazement, MS did away with floating toolbars. I hate the Ribbon Concept. Multiple clicks for what was once a single click is counterproductive in my eyes. I am now writing VBA code to simulate floating toolbars.
Question: Do you use floating toolbars? If so, how did you solve the floating toolbar problem?
Ah well, it may be time to bite the bullet and use SQL, or some Data Base, and Net code.
Hi Jerry, Sorry, I do not use floating toolbars. I know that MS took a lot of heat over this in 2010. The only solution I am aware of is to be clever and use VBA to emulate USERFORM as a toolbar. Don
That is what I am writing. Just trying to see how universal I can make it.
I might take a look to see if there are MS Express editions for SQL and any Data Base applications. If so I may just switch to one of those along with any NET code necessary for data entry and converting the existing tables.
Comment: You and I have the ability to develop code to solve problems, or understand SQL and Data Base. I fell sorry for those that do not, they are stuck with MS lunacy.
