Hi guys...Ever scan a stamp and find out it is not level..Frustrating...
Look at the results below using SHOTWELL VIEWER software...It was originally developed for Linux, but I found a link for Windows users. Feel free to use it if you are interested.
And it is FREE

Google's Picasa 3 will do that, as well as many other photo editing chores, and it is also free.

I don't know about wert's but Picassa's straightening tool
is about as easy as it gets.
Child's play.

Irfanview does the same, though you may have to guess a few degrees before getting it just right. You can even do 0.5 degrees for that little extra amount. I guess that there are many ways to skin that cat.

I tried downloading Picasa and my Norton blocked it as not safe.
I also rejected the shotwell site as unsafe!

My Norton Antivirus says http://picasa.google.com/ is safe.

It's two steps with Picasa, because you have to change the file name to save the corrected image, But the photo index/libary is great!

Thats what mine said told me when I downloaded Picasa 3 last summer. Been real happy with it. Because of Picasa's scanning set up, I am able to scan at double of what my scanner's software set it up for.

I find Irfanview the easier program to crop and save. I can do it with keyboard commands only and no pull down windows or pop ups which slows things down.
