I don't have a catalogue for values, but it is nice to have the talons attached. That's the preferable way to collect them.

Well, I have the same stamps in the first two rows, so that probably means that they are not worth a lot. I have an old Forbin revenue catalog at home. I can look them up for identification, but the catalog is over 100 years old so it won't help with values. I like the last stamp you have shown. I am guessing it is a tobacco stamp. I can try to look that up also, but if it is tobacco/liquor or match & medicine, it probably isn't listed in the catalogs that I have. I do have a friend that has a large, very impressive South American revenue collection. He could likely tell us a whole lot more. If you don't get an answer here please send these images to me in an email that I can forward to him.

On the last stamp, you can read "timbre municipal" which translates as "city council stamp". So, in my view, it's a local revenue stamp.

The last stamp is listed in Forbin under Mexico - Durango (which is both a state and the capital city), as Renta del Timbre #2, the higher face value of a set of two (the other being a 1/4c rose).

Forbin says the 1/2c was found in both dark green (main listing) and emerald (subtype). Just to round out a summary of the listings, the 1/4c is also listed as having a perf variety (perf 12).

If it was me, I'd be checking perfs on the 1/2c, too, just in case Forbin didn't know of a perf 12 on the 1/2c.

Good call, Seņor Cjd. I'm locked in at perf 12... What perf does it list for the 1/2c?

Thanks all for the input on these.
