No need to ask Ralph about this one. Just received it, and it is a beauty. All of the indications for 66i (pos 1L69) are there.

Thanks all! I was laid up for a few days, so was able to search more diligently then I normally would. This one popped up at a nice price, so I jumped on it. There is a hinge mark, but I thought the centering was very good. I've had some luck with re-entries lately, so the hunt continues.

Very Nice! I'm huge fan of double transfers, shifts, and re-entrys. I'm jealous, we have no website like re-entry.com. To get one of my varities reconized, I have to report it to The U.S. Philatelic Classics Society and then wait until someone finds a confirming copy.

Maybe I should collect Canada, anybody want to trade? Although, that 9d roo that Partime posted the other day was pretty interesting too.
I've got lots of U.S. banknotes, around 5000.

Great, I will. Just got a U. S. O1TC4e that has lots of extranous marks on it. But I can only scan at 1200 DPI currently.

littleriverphil, I will gladly trade you Canada bank notes for US ones on a dollar for dollar basis...

PS, I had a copy of that major re-entry once way back before I started collecting them. Stupid me put it on ebay and got $5 as I recall.

Have been looking for another since then.

Well, this may be much more common than we think. I only have a few copies, but have just purchased a new USB microscope, so am having some fun. Here are two more Scott 66 with very subtle indications of a re-entry. Example 1 is a MNH version that I just picked up:

Notice the very subtle shift in the maple leaf at the top right:

The right bottom shows a similar, very subtle shift:

And the left bottom is even more subtle, but you can see a small shift at the bottom of the maple leaf:

My second example is a Used 66 with some interesting, yet more obvious indications:

The right top shows a definite extra line at the outside of the maple leaf:

While the bottom left shows an equal shift at the very corner of the maple leaf:

This leads me to believe that these are very, very common. I will send them all to Ralph for his opinion.

Partime, you are correct that this stamp has many minor re-entries.

Try to find a nice copy of the major one though and it isn't so easy.

I just picked up another re-entry (actually misplaced entry)... this time a copy of the Major 1R4 (as noted on re-entries.com (http://www.re-entries.com/maple_lea...alfcent.html).

This one was a little more difficult to tell because the cancel covered quite a few features. However, I liked what I saw and picked it up for a good price.

The curved bottom below the FC is the most noticeable and what first caught my attention. But there are also small marks in most of the bottom letters.

In addition, there is an upward shift in both top corners, and plate scratches in the upper left that are constant.

I still need to pickup 1L1 and 1R79. The hunt continues.

Wert. As you can see from the response from 3Dadeo, there are multiple minor re-entries which can be found quite easily, but probably not worth much of anything. I'll keep searching for those elusive majors, but if I ever find a duplicate major, you'll be the first to know.
