I need the experience, so I'd ruddy well better go, since I live here anyway. It would be my first experience at an event of this type.

IBFS, what will you be exhibiting? I wonder if I could impose on you to get some pics of the Friday, 2pm "Zeppelin mail" exhibit. Is picture taking allowed? Will you be there at that time?
I've never been to an exhibit. I don't know the decorum or rules. I would certainly be interested to see what a Zeppelin exhibit might look like.

Hope you have a great time!

Stampcrow-- Certainly I can be imposed upon, if cameras are allowed. I don't know either. I imagine the Zeppelins will be at the airport because of the size of the airships. No, seriously that's one of the exhibits that first caught my eye and I want to see it myself. Let me see what I can do.

I think I will get an autograph of General Irwin Rommel from table 152 while I'm there. Always respected him.

is the Renaissance Hotel the old Henry VIII Hotel where they used to have all the stamp/coin shows?

okay, looked it up. not the same. Henry VIII is still around, and it's on Lindbergh, not Natural Bridge. my memory is not as good as it once was.
would love to make it to see some of Jay Carrigans' frames, but don't think it is in the budget this year.

You will enjoy it, IBFS. I attend a similar event in the Washington, DC area every year (NAPEX). Just watch your budget--it's easy to get carried away at the dealer booths.

Wow, that's a huge show, 2-3 times larger than the TEXPEX show I went to last week. No time to plan for it this year, but maybe next year. (I'm in AR, so it is not an unthinkable drive to STL.)
