So I've JUST now, after about a year, noticed that Linn's allows subscribers to save copies of their issues. But when I go in to the archives anything beyond about 6 months is in a separate archive area. I was looking for older issues so I've something to read at the hospital tomorrow but I can't find a download or save button like the main backissue area has. Am I not seeing it? Is the save ability only available for more recent issues?

My kindle can get Linn's in tablet mode but the hospital's wifi is VEEEEEERY slow and takes a good four or five minutes to load a single page. I'd prefer to save it and take it with me like the recent issues.

The older Linn's platform didn't support downloading the magazine. However, if you have Adobe Acrobat or any other utility program that installs a 'print to PDF' capability, you can 'print' the entire issue to a pdf file. There are a number of free 'print to PDF' programs available.
