First of all, welcome to Stamp Community Family!
As far as the topic of United Nations Stamp Club (UNSC) covers are concerned, I have not seen them before but as I look at the images you scanned, it appears there is no date in the postmark, suggesting it was probably a "bulk rate" mailing to UNSCs across the country.
Frankly, I didn't even know UNSCs ever existed until a Google search uncovered several items (i.e. membership card and pin) being offered for sale on
ebay.
The key to the UNSCs are probably the joint affiliation with Scholastic Magazine as a means to bring the subject of United Nations into the schools. Curiously, I did find this letter to the editor that appeared in a 1959 Recreation Magazine on the subject:

On a personal note, I have several boxes of UN stamps and covers and for whatever reason there seems to be little interest in even discussing them not only here, but on most other stamp-related forums. I'm not sure if the reason is political (both the UN itself and the subject matter of many of the stamps) or it lies in the fact that most UN stamps have never appreciated much in value over the years. In any case, it never seems to spark much interest with collectors, although these rather old threads on the subject may be of some interest:
