Hi all, two questions if anyone can assist.
1) Is there a list of best (or generally available) resources in polar philately? I found the few polar societies and a couple websites here and there but am interested to see if I'm missing something good. Books are OK too.
2) Does anyone know what/where are the structures in the background of the 1957 FSAT IGY issue (TF 8-10)? I ruled out Charcot Base (too early, looks different) and Port Martin (burned in 1952). Dumont d'Urville Station is a leading candidate but I couldn't find conclusive proof. |

Oh, this post reminds me I was in Antarctica a few years back (2013), and I sent my mother a post card from one of the research stations, with the intention of getting it back at some point. ><
Now I remember, I need to get her to give it to me! :)
