Might just be nothing but found this today. It looks like a scratch through the D and A but under the microscope it looks like something over the D and A. It feels natural to the paper (flat). My question is is it possible there may have been something in the paper and the ink just never stuck to it. Just seems very strange to me.

NorthenerO, Editing is done thru the small icon above your post; the one with the pencil in it! Just click on it and edit away.
The scratch on your stamp looks almost like it went through the cancelling machine and was damaged there!

Perhaps it was a scrap piece of paper that was on the sheet when it went through the printer and later fell off with some the stamp image printed on it.

This appears as something that occurred post production
not during the printing process.
