I have collected information about Beazell FDCs for the 2c Olympic Winter Games stamp issued in Lake Placid, NY on January 25, 1932 for years. I hope to be able to estimate how many copies of each design were printed.

This is easier than most people would think, since Beazell used photographic paper on which the cancel smudged easily. Therefore each FDC is unique because of the smudging and the type of stamp used (single, block of 4, straight edge copy, etc) on individual covers.

If you have a Beazell cover in your collection, please send me a scan. Chances are that I already have a scan of it since I have been collecting such information for about 25 years from auction catalog, the internet and price lists.
