Hi.....I've just bought a stamp collection at auction and have come across a 1856 10kop Finnish Stamp. The ones I've seen on the Internet are red in colour. Can anyone shine some light on whether this is authentic??????

doesn't look right, at all.

#1 cross on top of crown is too uneven.
#2 lions mane is too thin.
#3 shadow in post horns are wrong. should be concentric circles, not straight lines flowing into the horn.
#4 loops in post horn are too small and irregular.

Thanks for the reply. I've been doing some reading about these stamps and they seem to be more forgeries than real ones.

And this definitely a poor forgery.
